Please find attached an invitation to the Port Dover Waterfront Preservation Association and its Friends of Silver Lake Supporters’ annual Perch Dinner Fundraiser.
Dinner will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion
Wednesday, September 23, 2015
Doors open at 5:30 – come early for the cash bar and to chose your seats
Dinner will start at 6:00pm
We hope that you will be able to attend and support this event.
The program includes the following:
• Amazing Photography by Tim Warris & his daring drone air show
• Finest door prizes from local merchants
• 50/50 draw
• Featured speakers: Mayor Charlie Luke & Councillor John Wells
Come out and hear the latest updates for:
• The Harbour Light-house
• Marina Plans
• Miser Dam/Silver Lake
• grants and developments affecting the Commercial Basin.

This September we should finally see progress with both marina governance and Misner Dam/Silver Lake. The Mayor on behalf of Council will be speaking to update us on these topics.
With upcoming major decisions on Misner Dam/Silver Lake, now is the most important time for us to represent the strongest possible membership when we bring our voice to Council. So as well as coming out to enjoy a good perch dinner and good fellowship, renew/sign up your membership with the PDWPA, your voice for our Waterfront and Silver Lake.
